The short version

Samatha collects no data. None.

No account. There is nothing to sign up for.
No analytics, no tracking, no ads. The app contains no third-party SDK, no tracker, and sends nothing to the developer or anyone else.
Your journal stays yours. Your meditation sessions are stored on your device and, if iCloud is enabled, in your private iCloud database — which the developer cannot access, by design (Apple CloudKit private database).
Notifications (session bells, daily reminder) are scheduled locally on your device and never leave it.
Export. You can export your full journal as a CSV file at any time, from the Journal tab.
Optional support purchases (tips) are processed entirely by Apple. The developer receives no personal information about you.

If this policy ever changes, the change will be visible here and in the App Store notes before it takes effect.

Les achats de soutien (pourboires) sont traités entièrement par Apple — le développeur ne reçoit aucune information personnelle.
